The computer software industry is an ever changing environment. Companies and people demand that their software do more, and of course they expect more out of the vendors they use to supply the software they need. That is no more evident when consumers see companies acquire smaller firms to expand their business and of course their bottom line.

Tennis - Are You Afraid To Lose?

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

Are you technically a great tennis player, but somehow, always seem to lose to players of lesser abilities? If so, it sounds like you’re afraid to lose. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one experiencing this. I too, struggled with this problem as I was also “afraid to lose”. Here’s what happened. As a junior, I was able to out perform any other tennis player when practicing drills or playing practice matches. However, during tournaments (when the match actually counted), instead of driving the ball through the court, I would tighten up and start “pushing” the ball over the net. Why? Simply because I was afraid to lose. As a result, players below me who had nothing to lose were able to occasionally pull off the upset against me.

Everything in the technology world has gone mobile. If it is technology related it needs to be able to travel with you at a moments notice. Although engineers are still working on the creature comforts, mobile printers are beginning to be the new tech item to carry with you on the road. But, don’t fool yourself. Printing on the go is far off if you are thinking about whipping out a cheap quality printer and printing out high quality text or images. There is still a long way to go before that happens.

The Inner Game Of Tennis - Tai Chi For Centering And Balance

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Many years ago when I was a manager I provided Tai Chi lessons for my staff during the lunch break as a stress reduction technique. I brought in professional teachers and participated myself. We learned to breathe effectively and move in the slow, rhythmical movements of Tai Chi.

I was acutely embarrassed initially because I could not pick up the movements. However, as I progressed I started to feel the stress release effects of Tai Chi and wanted to learn more.

Cheap Computer Chairs

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

Cheap computer chairs are low-priced computer chairs that are designed to provide comfortable sitting position when using a computer.

The climbing popularity of the Internet increases the scope for supplying cheap computer chairs. People sit before computers for Internet surfing and playing games for long hours. Unless they adopt a comfortable sitting posture before the computer, the body, which is not amenable to difficult angles and bends for long, would react adversely with back pain and other discomforts. Manufacturers are taking particular care to provide convenient computer chairs like ergonomic chairs, which can also be purchased inexpensively, for customers.
